I just learned about this opportunity for smoldering multiple myeloma patients Thursday and got the information to pass along Friday afternoon. My contact said the program has been extended and there is still time to get involved–at least through the end of the weekend.
Chance to help out and earn a quick $120!
WorldOne Research is currently conducting a very exciting piece of research on Multiple Myeloma and we would like to invite patients who have been diagnosed with high-risk smoldering multiple myeloma (SMM) to participate.
We conduct research for pharmaceutical companies on a range of different topics. Pharmaceutical companies are always trying to improve their treatments and make them easier to take. Therefore in any type of research, the opinions of the people who actually take the medications are very important.
In this case, the objective of the study is to better understand the patient journey from the time of first symptoms/diagnosis to the long term management of the disease. More specifically, we would like to measure the patient’s response to a product which can delay the onset of multiple myeloma.
The research will take the form of a 60 minute telephone interview. The interviews will take place at the patient’s convenience between Monday 11th October and Sunday 24th October. We will of course reward you for your time with an honorarium of 120 USD payable upon completion of the research. It can also be sent to charity, if you prefer.
Market research also requires us to protect the identities of anybody involved. For this reason, we adhere to the protocols set by Esomar and MRS code of conduct (Data Protection), and as such patient details will not be passed on to a third party nor will comments or opinions be attributed directly to them.
If you decide that you would like to be involved in this process or if you have any questions, then please reply to this email with the best telephone number and time to contact you to confirm your profile and arrange your interview time.
