Bisphosphonate Day Today

I’m writing this from the infusion unit at Moffitt Cancer Center here in Florida.  Time for my three month check and bisphosphonate infusion.

My only concern:  Getting a good IV “stick” from my nurse.  It’s only pain, right?  Let me get back to you in a few minutes and see how it goes…

A super stick!  High-up the arm and almost no pain.  Melissa didn’t need to “dig around” in there (don’t you hate that!) or try another spot.  The fluids are flowing and I’m free to type away again on my mini-hp laptop.

All went well with my blood work and 24 hour urine results.  Of course I won’t know my M-spike number for another week.  So far it has been creeping-up very slowly.  Hopefully that trend will continue.

I will post more multiple myeloma news as soon as my treatment is complete–and there is lots to write about.

Feel good and keep smiling!  Pat
