Take 10 mg Revlimid – Then Call Me In The Morning!

My blood work is back from my three month check-up last week at Moffitt Cancer Center.  Everything looks fine.  My body continues to tolerate my maintenance regimine of 10 mg Revlimid (no dex) 14 days on and 14 days off.

Both red and white counts only a bit below normal.  Check.  IgG in normal range.  Check.  Urine clear.  Check.  M-Spike up .1 again—just like last quarter—now totaling .5.

I see this as relatively good news. At this rate, I won’t need to make any new treatment changes/decisions for at least another year.

The Revlimid continues to do its job! There are a few side-effects. My peripheral neuropathy is getting worse. I do feel a bit “fluish” for a few days at the start and near the end of the 14 days. My legs also cramp at night during the first week of each cycle. My bone pain also seems to be worsening a bit.

Hey, I’m good with this! I get e-mails from readers everyday who aren’t doing as well as I am. Lots to be thankful for this year!

Feel good and keep smiling!  Pat
