I just finished writing an encouraging article about the slow, but steady progress being made by researcher’s working with stem cells, sitting in a waiting room here at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa.
Its my 55th birthday today–a birthday I wasn’t sure I would see when I was first diagnosed with multiple myeloma almost four years ago.
So it really doesn’t bother me to be spending today being poked, scanned and x-rayed. I’m up next for my PET scan. Full body x-rays later this afternoon. No bone marrow biospy today. YES!
I won’t see any results of these tests until I meet with my myeloma expert, Dr. Melissa Alsina in ten days. No Worries until then… No news is good news for an experienced multiple myeloma survivor.
Feel good and keep smiling! Pat
