It’s A Big Night Tonight: GO PACKERS!

I’ve come a long way from when this picture was taken. I was still an outpatient following my auto stem cell transplant July 1st…

My sister-in-law, Mary, took this shot while we were walking through a tropical nature park, called Lettuce Lake, which is located a few miles from Moffitt Cancer Center.  Mary was acting as my caregiver that day so Pattie could put in a few hours at work.

Note the Green Bay Packer shirt.  An appropriate shot to share, considering the 2011 NFL season kicks-off tonight in Green Bay, with the Packers playing the New Orleans Saints.

Our weather is unseasonably cool today.  A coincidence?  No way!  The hot, humid Florida weather will return in a day or so, lasting well into November.

But for now, the comfortably temperatures are a reminder that tonight, “It’s time to play some football!”

Feel good, keep smiling and GO PACK GO!   Pat
