It’s Almost Time!

Posted on March 30 2016 by Pat Killingsworth | 2,376 views

We are so excited to have the 2016 Pat’s Myeloma Survival School only 2 days away!  It is so inspiring hearing from all of you that are attending and feel the excitement you share with us as the time gets closer.  Here is a picture for you to enjoy of an Amelia Island sunrise!

We wanted to remind everyone of the address of the event this year.  We will be at the Fernandina Beach Woman’s Club, 201 Jean LaFitte Blvd, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034.  If you are participating in a focus group, the Patients Session on Friday at 11am will be held at The Woman’s Club and the Caregiver Session will be held at Amelia Seaside Inn, just a short distance down the road.  If anyone participating in the focus group needs a ride, we have that covered!

If you are planning to pay registration fees for the Survival School or the 5K Beach Walk, keep in mind we do not have a way to take credit or debit cards at the event.  So, please plan accordingly. If you have any questions on payment or sessions, please feel free to email them to [email protected].

If you you or someone you know would like to join us and needs some help with registration fees, please email us right away at [email protected].  We still have some funds available to help!

Most of all, remember to come and have fun!

See you all soon!

We’ve thought of you all this weekend from up here in WI. Been missing Pat’s posts about the weekend. He’d be sharing photos and stories of the folks attending, telling us what Dr. Tricot said about him, letting us know what the other presenters had to offer. We know the drill and we miss his daily posts. So we’ll just have to create them ourselves.
Best to you all. Feel good and keep smiling!

Didn’t know where else to post this, but thanks to everyone that helped put this event on this year. Ed, Michelle, Gary, and many others that I don’t have names for. But most importantly, Thank you Pattie for allowing us to “warrior on” this year amid your grieving and thank you for allowing us to all celebrate Pat’s life. Your are a treasure to our myeloma community as well! I so enjoyed meeting everyone and had a great time!
